These are some of the challenges the optical fibre industry face today:

•    Insufficient communication from the industry about how the industry is moving towards sustainability

•    Address the diversity of methodology to describe environmental impact in the production of raw materials, optical fibres or optical fibre cables

•    Setting specific goals and ambitions

We want to introduce an initiate on sustainability which aims at addressing these challenges.
