As producer of chalcogenide glass, Umicore Optics can respond to the demand for low cost infrared optics. A unique molding process allows the manufacture of finished spherical, aspherical and diffractive lens geometry making this material the ideal candidate for medium to large volume thermal imaging and other infrared optics applications.
