Umicore’s latest innovation is GASIR®, a molded infrared optic for high-volume applications. GASIR® is a chalcogenide glass molded into a finished optic with complex geometry, including asphero-diffractive surfaces.
In an effort to increase the benefit for our customers, Umicore recently added polishing and coating to its germanium and GASIR® service offering.
